There is another daemon to pick up events from the powermate called gizmo: http://gizmod.sourceforge.net/ It is very customizable to control any application with many types of input devices. The scripting language is fairly easy to interpret and modify. I've been using it to route arrow keys to the O window in linux as well as controlling the system volume, scrolling in firefox, etc. Ian > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Message: 1 > Date: Tue, 27 Feb 2007 13:42:50 +0100 > From: Morten Kjeldgaard <mok@bioxray.dk> > Subject: Re: [o-info] powermate ? what is the .evrouterrc file > To: O info <o-info@o-info.bioxray.dk> > Message-ID: <45E4274A.6020708@bioxray.dk> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed > > Paul, > > >> I build the evrouter and figured out the powermate is connected to >> event4, now Morten's notes from April 30, 2005 are below.
