Also I see there > is an event3 that should be changed to event4, but how about the > "*event2" stuff? Currently event2 is mapped to my keyboard? > You put the file under /home/kraft. It starts with a dot, so it is "invisible" to a normal ls command. You need ls -a to see it listed. Lots of programs have a startup file like that. Traditionally in unix, they are are often named starting with a dot and ending in "rc" which stands for "run command". You place run command files in your root, which does not mean the /root directory, but your top-most user directory, /home/kraft in your case. Now, whenever you need to run O (or another program) with your Powermate, you need to start the evrouter program. That program will pick up events from your powermate, and turn them into some other kind of event which is fed to the O window. How that is done depends on what is in your .evrouterrc file. You'll discover that you can use the powermate to control other programs as well, for example the very nice xmms music player. I hope this helps. For more Linux trips and tips, perhaps you should go to the bookstore and find a good introductory Linux textbook and read it. Cheers.
