The Structure Determination Core (SDC) at the Joint Center for Structural Genomics (JCSG) has an immediate opening for a scientist level protein crystallographer. The JCSG is one of four large-scale structural genomics centers funded through the Protein Structure Initiative of the National Institutes of Health (see http://www.nigms.nih.gov/psi/). The SDC is based at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. SDC is responsible for all JCSG activities from receipt of frozen crystals through to the complete refinement of PDB ready coordinates. SDC is working to streamline and automate many of the structure determination steps. SDC works closely with the JCSG Crystallomics Core (protein/crystal production) and Bioinformatics Core (target selection/tracking). See http://www.jcsg.org for more information. Details of the position and applications can be made online at: http://www-public.slac.stanford.edu/hr/jobs/jobdetail.asp?REQID=029773 For informal enquiries and more information please contact Ashley Deacon via e-mail (adeacon at slac dot stanford dot edu) _______________________________________________ o-info mailing list (moderated) o-info@o-info.bioxray.dk http://o-info.bioxray.dk/mailman/listinfo/o-info
