[o-info] Problems in installing Ov8.0 under Linux9.0

I am trying to install Ov8.0 in my PC running Linux9.0. I keep getting
wield charachters in the Chassis ID output (containing no integers), and
was not able to abtain an access file with it. Did anybody encounter
similar problems before? Is it a problem with the new Linux version I
installed? Thanks for help.
