Hi Stepen,

I've done this recently with good success. Within O, draw the map using
the Map_* menu, and choose type 5 in Map_param. This will render the map
as a surface.

Wrap the map drawing between a set of Map_on & Map_off commands. This will
give you a plot file. Use the attached jiffy to convert the plot file to
povray format.
