University of Glasgow, Department of Chemistry Postdoctoral Research Assistant Applications are invited for a BBSRC funded post-doctoral research assistant to work with Professors Chris Gilmore and Neil Isaacs and Dr. Adrian Lapthorn on new methods of solving protein structures especially using maximum entropy methods. The post is available from 1st January 1999 for up to three years (1 year in the first instance). Candidates will ideally have both excellent computing skills, including a knowledge of FORTRAN or C, and experience in protein crystallography especially the underlying methodologies of solving the phase problem. You will be part of a large, well-funded group with an excellent working environment. The salary will start at point 6 on the RA1 scale (£17,570pa).
