I wonder if this has any thing to do with this problem! When we run the version 5.10 of O on the indigo 2 we do not get this problem! Any suggestions will be most helpful Thanks in advance shabir najmudin Waksman Institute Rutgers, NJ --------------3FF09AB89AF0EA784B48FAF1 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Received: from beech.sucs.soton.ac.uk (beech.sucs.soton.ac.uk [152.78.129.138]) by waksman.rutgers.edu (950413.SGI.8.6.12/950213.SGI.AUTOCF) via ESMTP id GAA00549 for <shabir@waksman.rutgers.edu>; Tue, 27 Jan 1998 06:34:01 -0500 Received: from willow.sucs.soton.ac.uk (willow.sucs.soton.ac.uk [152.78.128.20]) by beech.sucs.soton.ac.uk (8.8.5/server) with ESMTP id LAA28832 for <shabir@waksman.rutgers.edu>; Tue, 27 Jan 1998 11:32:53 GMT Received: (from jbc2@localhost) by willow.sucs.soton.ac.uk (8.8.5/client) id LAA14647 for shabir@waksman.rutgers.edu; Tue, 27 Jan 1998 11:30:26 GMT Message-Id: <199801271130.LAA14647@willow.sucs.soton.ac.uk> Subject: Re: O (fwd) To: shabir Date: Tue, 27 Jan 1998 11:30:26 +0000 (GMT) From: "J.B.Cooper" <J.B.Cooper@soton.ac.uk> In-Reply-To: <Pine.SGI.3.96.980126190233.26621C-100000@waksman.rutgers.edu> from "Shabir Najmudin" at Jan 26, 98 07:32:01 pm X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL23] Content-Type: text Shabir to break bonds to only way is with move_fragment and then click on an atom and the program choses the fragment for you - anmnoying but also handy sometimes. The dials then change so that you can move the fragment (pseudo-dials need a click to bring up the new functions). With real dials you may need to typ[e dial_next and/or dial_previous to swap between the fuinctions which are shown in the lower left hand corner of the graphics window. The connectivity file is called all.dat and can be assigned by typing ... con all.dat in the terminal window. The file is in the odat area but you may need a local copy in your account. As for stereo I would try Erhard at birkbeck as he knows all about it. Hope this helps. j.c. P.S. do you know about the O home page (can get to it via Birkbeck's springboard to the world). --------------3FF09AB89AF0EA784B48FAF1--
