Dear All,

We've just downloaded the latest version of O - v6.1.2. on both SG O2
and SG Indigo 2 impact both running on R10,000 processor -
the new version works fine on the O2 but on the indigo 2 the picture
starts flashing when moving objects in stereo - also we get the message

"graphic board is impactpc - guessing monitor frequency is
72Hz " when we start up O . I wonder if this has any thing to do with
this problem! When we run the version 5.10 of O on the indigo 2 we do
 not get this problem!

Any suggestions will be most helpful

 Thanks in advance

to break bonds to only way is with move_fragment and
then click on an atom and the program choses the
fragment for you - anmnoying but also handy sometimes.
The dials then change so that you can move the
fragment (pseudo-dials need a click to bring up
the new functions). With real dials you may need
to typ[e dial_next and/or dial_previous to swap
between the fuinctions which are shown in the lower
left hand corner of the graphics window.

The connectivity file is called all.dat and
can be assigned by typing ...

con all.dat

in the terminal window. The file is in the odat area
but you may need a local copy in your account.

As for stereo I would try Erhard at birkbeck as he
knows all about it.

Hope this helps.

P.S. do you know about the O home page (can get to
it via Birkbeck's springboard to the world).
