o v6.1 for SG and DEC AXP machines is now on the anonymous ftp server, together with a menu and startup file. this program should work in stereo on all SG systems prvided you have patched the OS. stereo on the axp is still to be done. all solid related problems are fixed. i have a home page http://alpha2.bmc.uu.se/~alwyn that describes this release, and a few other things (speeds, patches...). there are a few little things i'll get back to in the next couple of weeks, but the main remaining problem is with O2 stereo. i don't have this machine, but apparently the mouse position is not in register with the vertical coordinates of the pull-down windows. until i get a machine, you can get around this by selecting from the window like one does with a Macintosh, and activate the command by responding to the inverse colour feedback. i've been told that one can ID atoms in stereo without problem problems to me (NOT THE SERVER), SVP alwyn
