i just tried to duplicate this problem on my version, with nasty results.

defining 3 files worked fine. defining 4 stalled the program so i ctrlZ it.
then the program kept complaining that it could not write something to the
tmp directory (this is in SGs stereo). i could only get around this by
rebooting the whole darned syste. so DO NOT try this.

still no word from SG. aanyone tried O2 in stereo yet?
