Dear Brian Shilton, could you specify the mineral oil you are using. We tryed this too but only ended up with very unhappy crystals. I suspect we were using a wrong kind of oil and quit trying because we found another way to freeze the crystals. But it would be interesting to know what kind of oil people are using succesfully.
